What are my chances of getting into UF, FSU, UCF, USF and FAU?

Hi, I'm a junior in high school (FL) and i was wondering what my chances are of getting into those colleges. I have a 3.087 GPA and I took my SAT in the fall and got a 1080/1600 I'm gonna take it again in the spring. My EC's are Key Club, DECA(going to so 4 yrs of it and went to states this year), Catholic Club, Varsity Football (starter since 9th grade), Varsity Weightlifting (since 9th) and Varsity Track & Field. Thank you for your help!

Even though you are in the wrong thread, I will chance
UF- Even though you’re instate, high reach, its really tough to get in now
FSU- High match/ low reach
UCF- Match
USF- Low match
FAU- IN

srry my first post where should i post it and what do you mean match and reach.

In your case, UF is the Harvard of Florida.

You should be able to get into FSU, but they are getting competitive. Could go either way. UCF is a match, and USF is a lower match as PB said.

Should be in at FAU and maybe at USF. Best of luck!

Depends on when you apply/applied to FAU.

Right now you need a 3.5 GPA and a 1600 SAT score to be considered for FAU.

Retake the SAT. For Florida State you’ll need more than a 1080. [The Fall 2008 SAT average at FSU was 1265/ACT 28](Strong Students and Outcomes | Florida State University).

Good luck!

That’s very suspicious given their stats last year (25/75):

Critical Reading: 530 - 620
Math: 540 - 630
Combined: 1070 - 1250

English: 22 - 26
Math: 22 - 28
Composite: 23 - 27

They’re claiming their 50th percentile this year is above their 75th percentile last year?

^^^Yup. Those numbers are from BEFORE they cut 1000 from the freshman class. You take out the entire bottom 20%, and you get even more competitive that just that. And now they require the SAT writing. And those iin the bottom quartile of SAT scores are either athletes, are students with a strong core GPA with honors and AP. It is soooo competitive in Florida that even FAU has a wait list this year, and if you did not apply early, you have to have STATs that in the fall would have got you into UCF and USF.

APPLY early. And understand what your admissions GPA is. http://cyberguidance.net/college/recalgpa.pdf
