Hi, I am a high school senior looking into UF. I am in the IB program and have a 3.7 un-weighted and 5.5 weighted gpa. My SAT score is 1810 but I plan on taking it again because I didn't study for it and have only taken it once. I have over 400 community service hours and hold an after-school job. I play varsity tennis for my high school. What are my chances of getting into UF?

You’re in. Your GPA and course schedule with the IB will get you into UF. Won’t hurt to bump up that SAT score though. Good luck

Everyone says UF is all about that IB life, my counselor included. However, this year was the first year people who he thought would get in did not. You are in though XD

Hey there planters8. Putting the uncertain aspect of UF’s admissions aside, you have a nice well-rounded chance of getting accepted. Your UWGPA is within norm as is your WGPA, and your SAT score is about the average.
Hmm, community service looks good… Any ECs besides varsity tennis if I may ask?
And for curiosity’s sake, what do you intend to major in?

I get attracted to these University of Florida chance me’s, I must admit. CompEng here. Best of luck to the both of us, eh?

To be honest I don’t know what I want to study but I think it will be something math related. I don’t have any other ec although I could join an honors socitety
