ACT - 28 (Superscored 29, but UF doesn't superscore for ACT's).
SAT - 1750 (I know it's a bit low, so I only sent in my ACT score).
GPA - 3.69 (weighted)
GPA - 3.57 (unweighted)
I've taken 2 AP classes, but I'm currently enrolled in 5. (I'm not sure if my current AP classes will matter to UF because the admission decisions come out prior to the completion of the AP's.)
Played JV basketball for two years.
Have approximately 200 community service hours.

Please chance me! I will chance back if wanted! Thank you, I appreciate it!

Assuming that you’re applying RD, the 5 APs would count. Your ACT is on the low side, and your EC’s are decent. Try to do really well in the AP classes and to get good first semester grades, that could likely be the deciding factor. Also an upward trend in grades over the years would help. As of right now though, UF is a high match. I would study hard and try for a better ACT/SAT if you have time left to do so.

I applied early action and will hear back February 13th. Will the 5 AP’s still be factored? Yeah I saw their range starts at 27, but at least I’m in the range. I should add that my summer job was at a doctor’s office, so it was not like Publix or anything. Thank you. I’m doing my semester exams right now, and I should (probably) end up with 4 A’s and 2 B’s (both B’s are AP courses). I have never received a C or below yet. I think my essay and resume should help. I have more extra circulars than that, but those are the more prominent ones. I just got into FSU today, but I much rather attend UF. No time for the ACT/SAT now. Thank you! I really appreciate your response. Please let me know if you have any questions or any more suggestions.

Anyone else is welcome to respond still. I would appreciate all the comments. Thank you!
