What are my chances of getting into UGA?

I am a senior from out of state. My UGA calculated GPA is a 3.9 and my SAT superscore is a 1400. I did not send my ACT because I only took it once and it was not very good. I will have taken 7 AP classes by the end of my senior year. I have been on Varsity Cross Country since freshman year but I stopped this year to acccept a job at a Catholic School extended care program. I also did Varisty Track for two years. I am a member of National Honors Society and Key Club. They are both very service oriented. I am a High School Scholar and an AP Scholar. I am also a member of Cultural Awareness Club. I applied Regular Desicion and I think my essays may have helped my chances because I am generally a pretty good writer. However, I am worried that I do not have enough extra curriculars to be of high competition compared to other students. Can I still get in?

I think you should be fine tbh. I got into UGA '20 and it’s not super competitive for RD. EC’s don’t matter much to UGA. I don’t know much about the new SAT, but I guess a 1400 is equal to a 30 ACT score. With that in mind, I think you have a good shot. I’d be surprised if you didn’t get in. Worst comes to worst I think they can give you a Spring 18 offer but anything less that that - I don’t think so.

However, I wouldn’t suggest coming to GA from SC. OOS tuition is bad and it’s not a good idea to pay that much. Maybe Clemson, USC, or College of Ch. would be a better option.

All the best.

I applied to those schools but I am looking to go out of state. If you know of any out of state schools that have better oos tution or scholarships, let me know! If not, thanks anyways for the advice @miningengineer
