hey :).. basically i went to georgia for a month this past summer to hang out with family and also to visit UGA's campus, and i fell in love with everything about the school, athens, and campus! it's my first choice but i'm kind of freaked out but whether or not i can get in and i want to know what yall think my chances are of getting in.. i have about a 3.5 gpa taken some honors and ap, i got a 26 on the act and 9 out of 12 on the writing.. lettered varsity soccer 3 years, spanish club, hosa, deca, fbla, and i've been volunteering at a medical center for the last few months and i've done little volunteer projects here and there. oh i'm from utah and i'm female and persian if that makes any sort of difference? please give me your opinion! thanks!

hmm you may need to retake the ACTs but i still think you have a solid shot [70% possibility of acceptance]

ahh i’m afraid i don’t have time to take the act… application deadline is the 15th of this month! i’m pretty sure my act is in their 50th percentile maybe a little higher… but i’m freaking out about it!

I think that you should be fine although my brother was deferred with a 3.85 and honors and ap and we had legacy in our family. But you have a higher ACT and if you fall in the middle 50, you should be alright…ive always been a dawg and it would be great if they added another one to the family ;)

Are you a Georgia Resident? If not, you need to get your ACT higher. I think the 25th/75th is 25/29, but you should check. You want to be at the top end if you are an out of stater.

Go Dawgs! haha Wish I lived in state for instate tuition. Oh well! Good luck!!! :)
