What are my chances of getting into UNC - Chapel Hill

<p>I'm an applicant and I was just wondering whether you guys think I will get into UNC. I'm applying early and am going to submit my application in the coming days. I live in state and a life long Tar Heel fan. My parents went to UNC. I'm white if that has any role.</p>

<p>Current Year schedule:
3 AP's
3 Honor's</p>

<p>Stats:
Grades are Mostly A's and B's
ACT: 26 composite
SAT: 1670 (M: 660, R:530, W:480)
I am retaking the SAT in Nov. UNC said they will be able to get the scores in time. I'm really going to try and improve the reading and writing since I know I can do better (I took the SAT blind by the way)
4 years of French
4 years of Sciences
4 years of Math
4 years of English
4 years of Social Studies (took 6 classes though)
4.4878 GPA weighted
3.6585 GPA unweighted
Class Rank: 124/363 (Our school is very strong academically)
4 AP's taken before Senior Year (three 4's, and one 5) (I received a certificate for being an AP Scholar with Honor)</p>

<p>Extras:
Teacher Assistant during my Junior Year
Active member in two clubs
Played rec ball each summer and winter 09'-12'</p>

<p>Thoughts?</p>

<p>It’s still a reach at this point…</p>

<p>bump. bump.</p>

<p>What GPA scale is your school on?
And I’d try to get the test scores up… definitely a reach at this point.</p>

<p>I know its going to be a slight reach, but about 70 people get admitted to UNC from my high school each year out of the about 130 that apply if that means anything. But we go on a 4 point scale (with ap’s adding 2 points and honors adding one point when weighted). So are we talking a big reach, a slight or medium?</p>
