What are my chances of getting in to UNC- Chapel Hill for the class of 2021

Female, In-State
GPA and class rank are from the middle of junior year.

GPA: Weighted- 4.55, Unweighted- 3.8
SAT Score: (1800) Math- 600, Critical Reading- 600, Writing- 600
ACT Score: 30
Class Rank: 14/300 Top 5%, approximately 300 students class
Junior year course load: AP Government and Politics, AP Language and Composition, Local Community College Psychology, AP US History, AP Biology, PreCal 2-H, Spanish 4-H

Extracurriculars

  • Track and Field- 3 years
  • Cross Country- 2 years
  • Interact Club
  • National Honor Society
  • Science National Honor Society
  • Club Unify(Special Olympics)

  • Competitive Dance Team(5 hours a week)

I know my test scores need to come up, I’ve only taken each test (SAT and ACT) once.

If UNC is your 1st choice then your scores are competitive, don’t retake. If you are considering more selective schools than you should. I think you have an amazing chance. I would say 100% just to be safe, but you will most likely get in.

I have a 2000 and I’m worried I won’t get into UNC. I’d retake the SATs. GPA is God though.

Your ACT is good for UNC, but I’d suggest upping your SAT a bit. Otherwise you’re great!!!
