Your GPA is very strong, excellent transcript, awesome EC’s/honors, and great essays/recs always play a big part… however, your ACT is a little off the mark; pending it goes up, I think you have a good chance… if not, it’s a reasonable-BIG Reach (20-30%)

As for your other schools:
University of Maryland: In
Vanderbilt: Reasonable Reach
University of Virginia: Reasonable-BIG Reach (once again, this and UNC are most elite publics in the country
University of North Carolina-Wilmington: In
Villanova: Safety-Match
Texas Christian: In

Hope this helps!! Plz Chance Me Back (on the 2.0 thread)

I think UNC is a low-reasonable reach (40%)… Your GPA is excellent, transcript rigorous, even w/ a 31, ur in UNC range, good EC’s, and excellent essays/recs always help.

Thanks for chancing me before… good luck! =D

Thanks for chancing me =)
I don’t know much about UNC, but I’d say you have a very strong academic profile and solid ECs, so you have a pretty good chance. Sorry, I don’t know the rest of the schools. However, you could go to mychances dot net and make an account, update your profile, add schools, and it shows your % chance of getting in. Really, try it. GL!

It looks like you’ve done a lot of important things, scored well in many rigorous classes, and on your ACT. At this point, it is hard to say whether or not you will get in, especially because you are out of state. As long as you made it clear to them that UNC is your first choice, and that it especially shows in your essays, I can only assume whether or not you have a good shot.

I go to bullis and its alott easier to get into good schools if you go to a md private school (such as holy cross haha )
