I'm going into my senior year of high school.I go to a mathematics and science academy in Chicago. I have taken ALL honors classes since freshman year and I have an accumulative gpa of a 3.1 (kind of low I know) I did not do that well my sophomore year but your junior year is the most important year and I managed to get nearly straight A's every quarter ending my JUNIOR YEAR gpa with a 3.8. I MANAGED TO IMPROVE MY ACCUMULATIVE GPA a lot. But its a 3.1. I rank in the top 50% of my class. My ACT score was a 21 but I plan on retaking it. I also want to take the SAT as well. Im pretty sure I going to get straight As my senior year as well. Also for my senior year I am in a mentorship program which allows me to graduate with distinction and I volunteer and I'm active in many clubs. I plan on majoring in advanced medical imaging technology. Also for my senior year 1 of my classes is dual credit.

U Cincinnati: Match (aim for 24+/1700+)

You have a chance but get private tutoring 4-5 sessions for the ACT or SAT (princeton review is the best). My son improved 100 points on the SAT in one month.

Is the 3.1 GPA weighted or unweighted? You have a chance of getting accepted, just retake your ACT and try to get it above a 24. Good luck!

Your odds are very good if you get your ACT to 24-25. :)
