Okay, so currently i am a sophomore and im white. I have straight a's except for one or two B's. I take all honors classes and am taking like five ap classes next year. I am part of my city's police explorers program and i am going to join the civil air patrol. I took 7 years of shotokan karate. I played two years of recreational soccer. I am on my high school's wrestling team and volleyball team. I am in marching band, jazz band, and regular band and i am 1st chair and a section leader for trombone. I play trombone, bass guitar, and bassoon. I'm an all state player four years running. I am also joining student council and environmental club this year. And i do a ton of community service. Plus, i plan on being in the national honor society and getting my SAT scores above 2000. But, my freshman year, i got 2 C's fourth quarter, but my cumulative's were still A's. What are my chances of getting into USMA?

Alright dude, slow your roll. I did a lot of the same stuff when I was applying to USMA years ago. Instead of trying to do every club and activity possible concentrate on a 3-4 and become LEADERS in those clubs. Dont just be in the marching band, the be band captain or drum major. If you are going to join CAP become the squadron commander. The ALO (admission liasion officers) are not impressed with a dude who has done a lot of ****. When will their attention is when you say I was a leader in these groups. West Point loves that leader stuff. I saw myself as a product and I had to sell myself to West Point. Well I did and now here I sit in afghanistan for the second time in my fabulous career

well thanks for the tips man.
