What are my chances of getting into UT Austin??

<p>Hi! Please help!</p>

<p>I am considered an international student (from China). I am currently attending a very competitive high school in Colorado (almost 4000 people in our high school). I moved here in 6th grade and could not speak a word of English, and here is what I have done in high school:</p>

ACT: 30
Rank: 130/840</p>

<p>Awards: 5th place at international DECA competition
3rd place at DECA state
FBLA awards (both state and local level)
Top art award in colorado
School honors</p>

<p>Volunteering:
30 hours at denver soup kitchen
10 hours at cancer society
10 hours at blindness foundation</p>

<p>Intership:
Summer intership at a non-profit business place</p>

<p>Senior Classes:
AP English Lit
AP Calc BC
AP Enviro
AP Art Studio
Marketing 2
French 3/4 honors</p>

<p>I will have 2 awesome teacher recommendations, and I'll write 3 fantastic essays!!</p>

<p>Ps-UT Austin is the only school that I have visited! Great place! definitely 1st choice :) My #1 major will be either international business or marketing and I want to minor in sports management.</p>

<p>you will get in with no problem. I wanted to apply there, but it is out of state, so I didn’t bother. I was accepted to UGA with lower stats than what you have, so I wouldn’t sweat it.</p>

<p>Easy acceptance. Your ACT and GPA are well above average. EC’s are pretty good, especially for a state school. </p>

<p>I took the ACT twice, the second time with writing and I got a 25… so I had to send in this new ACT score plus writing. I’m really worried about it. At this point, I just wanna get into liberal arts. Forget about McCombs or Communication.</p>

<p>The average act score for international student is 25, do you guys think I still have a chance?</p>
