What are my chances of getting into UVA?!- first post : )

<p>H! This is my first post so I hope I'm doing this all ok : )</p>

<p>I'm a senior and I really want to go to UVA. It's my reach school!
I'd love suggestions for other great colleges in or close to VA which would be a good fit for my stats!
Other colleges I'm considering...
-VA TECH, JMU, and I dont know what else.</p>

<p>I do not have very impressive stats, but they are what they are. I'd love to hear your opinion of my chances and any advice! Thanks : )</p>

<p>3.7 (unweighted gpa)
Have taken about 5 AP classes
about 1900 SAT</p>

<p>E.C. - This is where I got way tooo active and it hurt my grades : (
-President/Founder of Earthquake Relief Committe - grew to about 70 members and we raised a 1000$ in a few weeks. It was used to build a school in Pakistan when Earthquake struck : D -great team effort
-President of Key Club Sophomore Year- only freshemen to ever run and get elected to serve as sophomore. Our Key Club is one of the largest with about 300 members.
-Junior Class President - elected with majority of about 600 votes
-Model UN "Junior Class President"
-Opinions Editor of school newspaper
-Been working on the side for about 2 years

<p>I did a lot of little projects and awards on the side. Like when I was key club president we did A LOT, but I didnt list them all.
Didn't want to bore you!</p>

<p>I'd say you have a half decent shot- it may be a littleee bit of a stretch (if your OOS?) but with a strong essay I'd say its possible. The other schools are a little more of a match- good luck with all of them!</p>

No I'm in state, and I have some sweet letters of rec even a couple from teachers who went to UVA.</p>
