Currently a junior in high school. Mainly A's and like two B+'s freshman year. Took Algebra 1 in 8th grade with an A. Sophomore year was not so great, overall B+ average with one B.

Give it to me straight. I'm taking AP economics, AP US history, AP lang, pre ap chemistry, advanced computer math, pre ap spanish 4, and Functions Trig.

I know I didn't do very well sophomore year, and I'm going to give 120% this year to try and get all A's. If keep my junior grades high, first quarter senior grades high, doI have a good chance of getting into UVA? I don't know if they prefer ACT or SAT (I heard neither) but I plan to take the SAT.

If not, what are some other good colleges (overall) in VA you would suggest? I'm looking at JMU, GMU and VA tech as backup options, but don't know how good they are.

Really appreciate the help guys!
