What are my chances of getting readmitted?

I’m doing things non-traditionally. To begin, I applied to UC Merced my senior year of high school and got in. So I enrolled, got my fees paid and had housing set up. Then a couple weeks before my first year at UC Merced, I got a letter telling me that I got dismissed from the school because I got a D+ in AP Calculus. It really sucks because that was the first D I’ve ever gotten in my life and it cost me my admission. So I had no choice but to go to a community college. Then I found out I can go through the reinstatement process. I got a 4.0 GPA at the community college so it really proves that I am capable at UC Merced. They took my admission away before they had a chance to see how good of a student I am. Anyway, I submitted my reinstatement application and I was wondering what my chances are especially if I did things nontraditionally. Would they realize that I am a successful student and find a way to let me back to school even through the unconventional route? Thanks!

I’m guessing you should be good.
