I transfered to OSU from a community college in the summer and took a chemistry class with the hardest teacher in the department-which i didn't know then-an econ class, and a theatre class. I failed the chem class, got a C in econ, and an A in theatre, but because the two i passed were only 3 credit hours and chem was 5, it gave me a gpa of 1.6, which put me on academic probation. this semester, it looks like i'm getting a gpa of 2.05, which doesn't fulfill the requirements of getting a 2.3 every semester. Am i going to get dismissed, even though it's my second semester at osu?

You should read your college catalog. It will tell you if for a junior the probation period is one or two semesters.
If it’s one semester, yes, you’ll be dismissed.
I would spend every waking minute (outside of eating/showering :p) studying for finals if I were you.
Also, each semester no matter where you attend college, remember to check what the drop/add date is, to go talk to your professors (office hours) as soon as you get less than a B, and to go to the support center as soon as you get a C+ or less.
