Biology 10
Psych 1
Psych 15
Anth 1
Math 10

Those are the de anza courses I need to transfer to UC Davis under psychology B.A.

I feel that I have fairly-strong personal statements.

My cumatilive gpa is 3.07 and my major gpa is a clean slate.

Well, actually i got a C in math 10 summer 2014. Thats really bad, I know.

But psych 1, bio 10, anth 1 and psych 15 I should be able to manage as close to a 4.0 as possible. Bio and psch 15 would be the most difficult for me but I think if I remind myself of why I am doing it It would motivate me to put in the work to get the A anyway.

For extra curriculars I am involved in Circle K anf I am exploring some kind of leadrship opportunity within the club as well.

Other less significant ones I was a club officer for our campus music club--hobby for me, i also joined philosophy club and have been working a part time job since the age of 16.

I need the wisdom of those on college confidential here. How can I best write my personal statement for transfer when I haven't even taken one major class? I am determined to suceed regardless because its a now or never type situation for me.

I feel embarrassed about this to be honest, but mostly I fear taking to many units and disqualifiying myself for transfer. Obviously, I also fear growing too old to the point where I would no longer be surrounded by peers and that would be depressing for me-- especially because i'm single.
