What are my chances of transferring to Michigan State university after community college?

Hi, I am a freshman at my local community college here in Michigan and I just applied for fall 2018 at MSU. I will only have about 20 credits that transfer so i sent them my high school transcripts also but i am really nervous so here are my credentials:

High school:
GPA: 3.7
ACT: 22
total AP classes taken: 4
Activites: 2 years high school basketball, 4 years of varsity soccer, and multiple jobs throughout high school

Community College:
i am still currently in my first semester of classes so i do not have my final grades or GPA yet. But looking at them right now i would say that i have a 3.5. but i will also not be taking the 2 classes that MSU requires (english 152, math 125) until my second semester here at the community college

I applied to MSU my senior year of high school and they ended up asking me for my 2nd trimester grades but i never ended up sending them because my parents ended up making me go to our local community college because our high school give you one free year at the community college.

i just want to know any advice or if you think my chances of getting in are high or low

anyone please??

I think your chances are pretty fair. Keep your grades up and retake your ACT…see if you can up that score a little. https://admissions.msu.edu/apply/transfer/before-you-apply/admission-standards.aspx

Average admitted ACT at MSU is 23-28…so getting your ACT score up would definitely help you. Your academic history seems solid, and this will help.

girl i am basically in the same exact position as you! I am a freshman at my community college & I applied as well for Fall 2018 to transfer in as a sophomore. I am currently taking 18 credits (fall semester) and i am estimating on having around a 3.8  but the only thing im worried about is my highschool gpa was only a 3.24 (with an upward trend from 9-12) and my SAT is only a 1040 (new SAT) which is poop lol. Im also worried because i am taking the math & english requirement my spring semester here (im signed up for them) but i won’t have my grades for those till May. But girl i think you’re good, i know its so stressful hahah but try not to worry too much.
