What Are My Chances of...YOU GUESSED IT! These Colleges...

I'm a senior and...

Average: 90.08 (which is like a 3.6 I assume)
SAT*: 600 Math; 600 Reading; 680 Writing

each section is the highest score I got from taking the SAT twice (yeah, it's not amazing :( )

And the colleges I'm interested in are:

Binghamton
Stony Brook
University of Buffalo
Oswego

University of Delaware
Northeastern

Do you think I could get into these? Also, if you could, please--please!--recommend others that I could get into based on the above colleges I listed. I would greatly appreciate it.

are you a NY resident?

if you are stony brook and binghamton are matches or very slight reaches

Yeah, I live in NY.

Some have told me I have an extremely good shot at Stony Brook, but Bing might be a reach school (more so possible actually).

Any more opinions would be GARRRREAT! :p

Oh, and I'm taking AP Psychology this year if that counts for anything. :p

kids get into SB and Binghamton with your stats from my school all the time, so you have pretty good shots at both.

Cool.

What about the other schools?

Anyone else? Please! :(

Delaware and Northeastern are reaches I would believe.

I disagree with ophiolite that Delaware or Northeastern are reaches. I think they'd be considered matches.
U of Delaware's SAT ranges are: 540-620 V; 550-650 M; GPA 3.5
Northeastern's SAT ranges are: 550-640 V; 570-660 M; GPA 3.18

That said, as we all know, you still never know about matches... that's why there are SAFETIES :-)

Good Luck Crono!!!

So which ones on that list are the best?

Any others I should look into as well?

Northwestern is the best on there... What about uMich, its a really good university.

But can I get into them is the question...

BTW, is collegeboard.com the best site to find out what minimum academic requirements are, well...required...for certain schools?

Sorry, I was basing off of my fiance's stats, whom applied 6 years ago to these schools and was rejected by both. He had very similar stats and lost both gambles, I would have thought that standards would have increased at both schools in the past 6 years....guess not...

Come on guys, more input!

I think you are definitely in at Oswego & UB...SB, Bing., Del, & NE are all 60/40 you'll get in..... in my opinion

ummm... i think your a def. in at northeastern and stony brook i dont know much about the others but judging from their stats i think you have at least 65% chance at a yes

The one I want to go the most to is Binghamton.

Hmmm...will applying EA increase my chances of getting into Bing?

Bump--as you can tell, I'm very very paranoid about all of this.
