What are my chances of..

Hi, I will be entering my senior year in high school this coming fall. IT's almost time to apply to college and Im getting nervous. I messed around in 9th and 10th grade, and began to seriously pick it up in my junior year. I still got grades from B+ to A+ with a B in Chemistry. Im in all honors except chemistry and english/history in 9th and 10th grade. My GPA so far is and 87.45 I hope it won't be too late to really boost my GPA during my senior year and have it affect my college admissions.

Im looking to go into the pre- med track and hopefully become a plastic surgeon.
I realize that it will be a long and challenging road, but I'm almost confident that I will succeed. Im not the most academically gifted in the math department, but Im strong in history, english and some sciences. (Not chem!!)

Anyways, I plan on applying to the following schools:

SUNY Stony Brook
SUNY Binghampton

MIDDLE:
NYU
Wash U. St Louis

REACH SCHOOLS:
UCLA
UNC Chapel Hill
U MIch Ann Arbor

I have taken the ACT twice and my highest scores so far are:
English 32
Reading 31
Math 24
Science 23

My highest ACT composite score is a 27.
I got an 1800 on the SAT. I will not be taking it again.

I have 3 more chances of improving my score.

My question is, what are the chances of getting into the schools I listed above?

Here is some info. about me... if it impacts my chances..

My ethnicity is Asian

Im on the...
- varsity track (distance 1500)
- Varsity cross country team
- National Honor Society
- National Art Honor Society
Volunteer Experience
- My church's VBS summer program
- Art therapy program leader at a Jewish Nursing Home
Extra Curricular
- Developed art skills at local art studio/ in an art studio out of the country when I used to live abroad
-- Newspaper Club
- Participated in the Women in Technology program for BAE Systems
- Accepted into government run NYSSSA program
- Art Club
AWARDS
- 2nd place National Art Competition in (Country not listed for privacy)
- 1st place PTA Reflections winner

Im talented in visual arts, and I plan to use my work and talent to attach to my college applications.
^^ Does this have any affect on the admission process?

Im not just another high school artist who makes crappy(sorry if this is offensive) art and thinks its good. I used to be very serious about art and almost chose to go to school for it! But in my opinion, I found that it would be a great mistake...

I mainly focus on portraits.

I know my grades are not AMAZINGLY great, but they are good. I hope to write a killer college essay and use my art to get in....Since I cannot fully depend on my GPA and rank.

Thanks for your help!

Stony Brook: Match/High match
Binghamton: Reach
UCLA: High reach
UNC: High reach
UMI: High reach
WUSTL: High reach
NYU: Reach

@ Catria,
Thanks for the response!
I was wondering if you were basing your answers on my ACT scores or mainly my school work/ extracurriculars?

I know a 87.45 GPA (assuming you’re a NY resident) is a little low. It’s not an ACT score in isolation, and WUSTL, NYU seem to ask more from Asian kids on the numerical front. That EC list may be just fine though.

WUSTL is in the same level of hardness as UNC-CH as an out-of-stater. Now, keep UNC, UCLA, WUSTL and UMI for your med school list.
