-Also, I dont know what this counts for but i will probably have a recommendation from the CEO of a big company talking about my business/entreprenuring interests

If you applied to WFU, or if you have any insight on my chances let me know! All honest responses are welcome

Jake, think your chances are good. SATs are in the range and the year round sports should explain the lack of other ECs. The only thing that might hurt is your class rank.

I agree with Wilmington. I really don't know how they look at the class rank and you said your school was very competitive and your numbers are good. Wish you the best. Let us know when you hear. When do you expect to hear?

Thanks a lot guys, i really appreciate the input..
mkm, I am only a junior now so i'll be applying next year, possibly early decision in the fall. So I'm still gonna have to keep my grades up and my GPA isnt set in stone but it should finish right around there. Thanks again guys your input really helped a lot!
Any other opinions??

I know students who applied end of last summer (right before their senior year) and knew by mid Sept. that they were in. Sure makes your senior year less stressful when that decision is made. Guess that was ED single option or something like that.

I applied Single Choice ED in early October. It does require some extra work during the summer, but it was definately worth it as I got my acceptance by the end of the month. You also don't have to rush to do the merit aid application along with the regular application. The merit application is quite tedious. Good luck :)
