Out of those schools i am really looking into FSU and USF. what do you think my chances are of getting in??????

You seem to have a solid GPA and good ECs but your SAT scores are only a little above average for all test takers. I do not know whether this is good or bad for you since I am not familiar with Florida colleges and what the typical SAT scores are for admitted students at the schools you are interested in. It is usually not too difficult to find out what the range of SAT scores for accepted students is for each college by going to their website but it is usually given as the spread between the 25th percentile and 75th percentile. Check each subsection, CR, M, W and see if your scores are below the the 25th percentile ( in which case your chances would be slim) or above the 75th percentile (in which case you are probably in). But do not stop there. Being a little above the 25th percentile is not a position you want to be in, particularly at athletic powerhouses like FSU which probably has a large number of athletic recruits populating the lower quartile of the distribution. Take the SAT scores that corresponds to the 25th and 75th percentiles, add them together and divide by two. That will give you the mean SAT score for accepted students and you are going to want to be at or above the mean for a really good chance of acceptance. If you fall well below the mean you should take the SATs again, prepare rigorously for them and concentrate on math since that is probably the area with the most potential for a significant increase in score.
