What are my chances? please be truthful.. :)

I took two SATs. My best: 2110.
780: math, 670: critical reading, 660 writing.

Rank: 13/640 in a competitive high school in alabama (top 5% in the nation).
I take alot of AP classes and got all As. I have a rigorous schedule.

JV tennis: 9th grade, Varsity tennis: 10-11th grade (one letter received).

Secretary of youth group: 11th grade.
Alpha theta, english honor society, science honor society: 11th grade.

Did some volunteer work at the library, like 30 hrs. Planning to do more.

What are my chances?

Sure, you have a good shot. Just work on making your essays really good and choose teachers for your recommendation letters who you know will write solid letters…

agreed - your grades and class rank are solid. but, as usual, the essays are where you need to shine.

Your stats wouldn’t keep you from UChicago, from what I can see (and know about the college admission process). Just make sure to have essays that show a lot of passion for what you are doing/the school and choose wisely on recommendations.

Good luck with your college search :D

Are you asking for financial aid?

uh oh there seems to be a problem

yeah… would that affect admission?

You’re not an international student. UChicago is need-blind for domestic students. You’re fine. Your numbers are solid and shouldn’t keep you out of UChicago. Having gone through UChicago’s application myself, I have to agree with Hlover and Cosmos. Nailing the essays is a must.
