What Are My Chances? Please Help!

<p>Hello, I'm a junior in high school and maybe it is a little early to stress, but I really want to get accepted into the University of Washington. </p>

<p>My GPA is 3.8, I will have taken 5 AP and Honors classes, I have recieved a few 5's on my AP exams. My SAT is low, a 1660, but I plan to take it again next year. I have done tons of volunteer work and school activities. My admissions essay will be excellent, for I'm a pretty good writer. </p>

<p>What do you think? Do I have a good chance?</p>

<p>Raise that SAT to 1800 and you should get in. UW is one of my top choices, but I’m not sure if I can handle the weather and living in a big city. But, regardless, Go Dawgs!</p>

<p>I agree with SOC - raise that SAT, and I think you’ll get in. Have you considered trying the ACT? Sometimes it clicks differently than the SAT and it’s easier to get a high score.</p>
