Hi guys,

I am a senior in a hs in VA. I have a 3.93 gpa and I have taken AP World History(10th grade), AP Lang, AP US History, AP European History, and am currently taking AP Literature,AP Gov, and AP Bio. moreover, I have taken english honors 9 and 10, biology 9 honors, chemistry 10 honors, and world history 1 honors(9th grade). I have scored a 5 on AP World, 5 on AP Lang, 5 on AP US, and a 3 on AP Euro(didn't have the greatest teacher). I am also the VP of our local Interact Club, and a Treasurer for the French Honor Society. This year, however, for first quarter, I am going to receive a C in pre-calc because I bombed a quiz early in the quarter. I have never received a C on my report card before and I was wondering if this would greatly affect my chances of getting into George Washington(1st choice). Also, I scored decent on the SAT (1800) but I didn't study. Now I am enrolled in a prep class and my goal is a 2100. Also, I believe that my college essay is unique because I talk about how I started my own business in hs.
Other than the C, my course load and related grades are pretty decent i think. If you could please tell me if the C would harshly affect my chances, and what i could do to "counter balance" it , that'd be great. Also, for GWU, would I be a good candidate? And is it better to apply as "undecided" or as a "pre med"? Would that make my application go into a more competitive pool?

thanks so much for taking the time to read this. it reallllyy helps.
