ACT- 34 composite (36 math, 34 science, 34 reading, 32 english)
GPA- 4.0 weighted (on a 5.0 scale, will have 9 AP classes by graduation)
Commended Award on the PSAT (98% for state)
White male, lives in Tennessee, out of state for all three

Grades:
Grades on an upward trend since quitting football in sophomore year
Mostly Straight A’s and 4 AP classes Junior and Senior year (B in Latin)
A+ in Computer Science AP, Java college course, Cybersecurity college course, AP Calculus, AP Physics

Extracurricular:
Taken college Java and cybersecurity engineering courses (in college, got a 4.0 in each)
Designed and maintained popular games on roblox.com (300,000+ times played on most popular game)
Volunteered for youth football league for three consecutive years, and in a youth baseball league for two.
Latin Club for three years
Football for two years (grades started raising exponentially after football ended)
Tutored multiple people in Java to get them an A in Computer Science AP

I am applying to the engineering department, and plan to major in computer science or software engineering. What are my chances of getting in?

You’ll probably get in all of them. Purdue is a Safety, UIUC is a low match. Geogia tech is a match.

That’s a relief! I’ve been stressing a ton about UIUC.

You will almost most definitely get into all

I wouldn’t stress about UIUC I know people who have gotten with stats and EC’s significantly worse than yours. Plus they like the out of state $$
