<p>Duke looks for people who are leaders in both their studies and their communities in general. My advice would be to emphasize your leadership roles and make your involvement in your community really stick out on your application. Also, it would help you to retake the SAT I, as your score would put you in the lower half of the applicant pool. Your GPA and SAT II’s are fine, though.</p>
