<p>I am still a junior. Ill probably be getting into more activities over the summer, do more community service hours, re-take SATs to get a higher score (definitely doing that), and my cumulative GPA will increase. None of this is set in stone, but here goes: </p>

<p>So what are my chances? Mostly referring to my GPA and extracurriculars. Also, I am a pretty good at writing, therefore, I think my college essay will be pretty good. I am predicting an SAT score in the 1700s and an ACT score from 26-28. And I dont necessarily come from a rich home, my parents make $80,000 a year. With all of this considered do I have a good chance of getting accepted? If not, what can I do between this summer and this November in order to improve my chances? And if not USC, what other colleges in the L.A or New York City area do you think I have a good chance of getting into? *Btw, Im am talking about the University of Southern California, not Carolina.</p>
