Well here's my problem. I'm going to be a junior and I did really bad in math in 9th and 10th grade. I got 2 D's in math and I went to summer school once, but my other grades are mostly fine. But my gpa is really low. It's 2.91 uw and 3.3w. Other than that I have over 300 service hours and I have many ecs. Can I have some ideas of what types of colleges I can still get into?

I was thinking about studying abroad in the UK for my junior year but would studying abroad bring up or down my chances of getting into a good college? If I do study abroad, I would be taking 4-5 A-levels which are equivalent to APs.

Now I'm thinking about just completing my junior year here instead of studying abroad. But my gpa will only go up to a 3.4 and that's only if I get straight A's. I'm worried I won't get into good colleges.

There are still a lot of great schools that you can get into with a 3.4 GPA--especially if you have a rising grade average.

Some schools that come quickly to mind with GPAs in that range (note people that I'm not saying at the 50% range, just the 25% range) are:

Boston University, Purdue University, Indiana University at Bloomington, Auburn University, University of Washington, Fordham University, University of Missouri at Columbia, Kansas University, University of Colorado at Boulder, University of Nevada at Las Vegas, University of Connecticut, Oregon University, Arizona State University and many others

I suggest you just do the best you can and there will be a university or college that will be a great match for you.
