What are my chances?; suggestions? (:

Hello,

I need some suggestions for colleges. So far, I have applied to UCLA, UCSD, UCD, UCI, UCSB, UCSC, and UCR. I have also applied to CSU SLO and SDSU. I want to apply to maybe one or two other colleges. I want to major in business, with an emphasis in either accounting or finance. I'm also interested in doing international business, which is why I applied to SDSU.

here is some general info:
GPA: approx 3.77 (w), 3.65 (uw)
rank: don't know
APs: calculus AB (5), ap euro history (3), ap stats (3), ap us history (3), ap biology (3)
SAT: highest in one sitting is 2010, highest from each category is 2040
SAT iis: math iic: 690, bio (e): 570
extracurriculars: tennis team for 4 years, piano, science olympiad, treasurer for a club, leadership club, tutoring club, community service (approx 65 hours a year for all 4 years), peer mentoring, etc.
honors/awards: honor roll, ap scholar with honor, other participation awards for sports and leadership

also, during 10th my gpa was 3.56 ish (w), and 11th grade, it was 4.0 (w), making it 3.7 something now. So far, my 12th gpa is 4.0 (w). yay for upward trend (:

I know my GPA isn't great, nor are my test scores. I know UCLA and UCSD are reaches for me, but I'm going to try anyways. The rest, I'm not sure what kind of chance I have at getting in, and/or which colleges fit me better. Anyways, I need some suggestions for other colleges, IN CALIFORNIA, that will have a decent chance of accepting me. Please help me out, this is important! If I decide to apply to other schools, I'm going to have to ask my teachers for letters of rec and everything, and I need time for that. Even if you don't have any suggestions, can you at least tell me which colleges I should consider as reaches, which ones as decent chance, and which ones as safety? Both questions are important!!

thanks for your help (:

I don't know that much about the California schools, but you have a good gpa and very good scores, so you will most likely get into a number of these schools. Some others to consider are maybe Santa Clara and Chapman. Good luck!

NYU Stern seems like a pretty good upper-match school with your scores, GPA, and Ecs.

^thanks for your replies. (:

anyone else?

Your smilies are backwards! :)....best advice so far i'd say ;P
