What are my chances? Thanks!

Hey everyone! I really love USC and the southern California area would be an amazing place for me to end up. I have family there etc. I also really like Notre Dame and Boston College as well! Any of these three places would be a joy to be accepted to. At these schools, I will be applying to the colleges of arts/sciences for a biology/biochem degree.

Based on your May posting, perhaps you’ve not yet run the Net Price Calculator for USC? Before falling too much in love with it, you need to determine if it’s affordable. You say your parents can’t contribute. yet USC, BC and Notre Dame is +$50K per year…

But to “chance” yourself, google the “common data set” for USC and other target schools. Look at section C and see the stats of admitted students.

USC is very expensive: $70K if you count health insurance fees.
You need to run that NPC to see how “cheap” it REALLY is.

@T26E4 makes a good suggestion in having you look at the CDS for USC. Lots of surprises there.

These schools also offer full financial need to students who apply. After running my information in the NPC, all three of these schools are very affordable for me.
