My friend and I would greatly appreciate any reponses. Thank you.

This area (Cornell 2009) is set aside specifically for the class of 2009, which apparently doesn't include you if you are asking chances. Put this somewhere else, like the regular Cornell forum or the "what are my chances" forum. If you put it somewhere else I promise I'll respond, but not in here. And I think it'd be rude for anybody to answer this since it isn't in the right spot (it's sort of rude to put this in the 2009 page). Thanks for understanding.

Pretty excited about them chances eh? I was like that too. Try posting in only the Cornell Main Forum. People might be more receptive. FYI everyone here will tell you to come back when the SAT's are in. I guess with good SAT's you would look pretty good. Which college at Cornell? From what I am aware of the CAS and COE are the most difficult colleges with CAS acceptance at around 16% (I think...) Others are more 'accepting.'

As pjv80287 said, this section for the Class of 2009 was set up for the purpose of avoiding posts such as these. While the entire admissions process is nerve-wracking and we totally understand your stress, this is meant to be a place for '09ers to relax and chat about issues that are more pertinent to us as we prepare to go off to Cornell in August. (Housing, meal plans, social life, gym membership, ect.)

im sorry, this wasnt supposed to be posted here.

its ok, we don't hate you ;)

I guess this still applies to the whole "Class of 2009" thing:

Jerew, did you say that the admit rate for the college was 16%? Where did you hear that from? That's really scary to think about, I thought it was supposed to be the easy ivy to get into, apparently not anymore.

for just the college of A&S its something like 16 and mid 20s for the school overall
