<p>Hey guys, I am new to the forums and was wondering if you could help me out here!!</p>

<p>I am a white male from NY and i attend a public school. I am a rising senior and i will graduate in 2010.</p>

<p>GPA - Weighted 3.3/unweighted 3.0</p>

<p>SAT: comp:1610 M 570, CR 510, W 530</p>

<p>EC's:
1 yr JV foot ball
3 yrs golf (varsity last year and this upcoming year)</p>

<p>Volunteering:
Juvenile Diabetes research (10 hrs)
Dix Hills Library (10 hrs)
Youth Inrichment Services (5 hrs)
Temple Beth Torah (40 hrs)</p>

<p>Colleges i am looking into:</p>

<p>Towson University
SUNY University at Buffalo
SUNY University at Albany
Rutgers University</p>

<p>oh and recommended colleges:
university of colorado - i know it’s far from new york, but i live in NJ and i’m applying there. they have a high acceptance rate. my cousin goes there and is also from NJ and he LOVES it. it’s a party school and it’s a pretty good school academically. it is expensive but its in a really chill town and there’s a lot of out-of-state kids.</p>
