What are my chances to get accepted?

Hey I'm trying to see what colleges I can get into after my senior year. I have just completed my Junior year and trying to see where I rank among my peers. Here is my stats:

Current unweighted GPA: 3.76
Current weighted GPA: 4.3
Classes taken as Junior:
AP US History: B's
AP Physics: A's
Pre Cal: A's
AP Pysch: A's
SAT: 1700
ACT: Taking tomorrow
Sports: Varsity Soccer 1 year
Competitive soccer for 8 years
Schools I am looking at:
UC Berkeley, UC San Diego, UC Davis, UCLA
Cal Poly SLO, San Jose State University, and Sac State

Thanks for helping me, any feedback is appreciated

UCB: High reach
UCLA: High reach
UCSD: reach
Cal Poly: depends on major, but probably a reach to low reach
UCD: lower reach/high match
SJSU: match/lower match
Sac State: match/lower match

thanks for the reply, just wondering what can I do to better improve my chances to “High Reach” schools?

What is your UC GPA? See link to calculate: <a href=“Cal State Apply | CSU”>Cal State Apply | CSU;
Since you have finished your Junior year, other than taking a summer course at the local community college, you GPA will stand which is pretty good. You really need to retake the SAT(aim for 2100+) or try the ACT. I only see soccer as an EC with no volunteer work, so that you could be something to work on especially something related to your major. Also, work on your UC essays this summer so they are ready to go for the Fall Application period.
UCSD/UCB/UCLA: Reach
Cal Poly SLO/UCD: Low Reach/High Match
SJSU: Low Match
Sac State: Safety

I heave yet another great sigh when I see posts about raising an SAT by 400 points. You will have to submit your applications to the UCs in November. The chances of dramatically altering the scenario are slim. Your UC weighted GPA will be the most important factor in your application, along with the rigor of your courseload, but SAT scores of under 1800 are very low for the most elite campuses. Are you looking at specific departments? Engineering and STEM programs are even more selective than the general colleges, and you probably don’t have a great chance at most of them. May I ask why you are skipping Santa Cruz, where you might stand a stronger chance?

@woogzmama: I agree that raising the SAT by 400 points is really difficult but the OP asked how to better improve their chances, so I gave a number to aim for if the ACT result is not much better. OP did not give too much information regarding EC’s except for soccer and this area could be improved upon but a little late in the game. I also agree, the GPA is the most important factor on the application to again too late for any real improvement. I also think UCSC should be on the list and possibly UCR since they have the GAP (Guaranteed Admission Program) and with a UC GPA of 3.9 and SAT of 1600, OP will qualify.

thanks for the replies again, I never looked into Santa Cruz, but will now. I am interested in going into engineering. I calculated my CSU GPA and it came out to a 4.07, but i think i did it wrong. I forgot to mention i am a part of Key Club and do some community service here and there. If i do a lot of community service my senior year, will that be enough? Or did I screw my self over? Also, how is Santa Cruz’s Engineering Program?

Santa Cruz is probably best known for some of its Environmental and Marine Science programs - well, after the Grateful Dead archives, I suppose - but it has strong STEM departments all around, and good networks withing the Silicon Valley community owing to proximity. I think that the Engineering school is well-respected. It might have separate admissions requirements, which you can look into.

If you do a lot of community service your Senior year, it will look like you are padding your application. I would continue with some of your previous volunteer work you have already started to show consistency. Your UC GPA looks about right if you took several AP classes. What type of Engineering??? UCSC does have a good Engineering program and I wouldn’t rule out UCR as a safety.
UCSC: Match

So your saying don’t go to crazy on the community service? In general, I would prefer Mechanical or Civil engineering, but comp. engineering seems interesting too. Is it possible to not have a definite idea or should i try to narrow it down? I’m taking one more SAT, what would I need to get to raise my chances to my reaches, and overall is it obtainable? thanks
