Please help me. I am very confused right now. I don't know whether i should apply to NUS or not. I don't want to get my hopes high.
I scored 8.8 CGPA in 10th CBSE
My overall score in 11th CBSE was 82%
I am still in class 12th CBSE right now. So far i have been doing well. I scored 90% in the recent exam that was taken. I plan on doing Psychology Hon. in the future. I will be applying to DU (Delhi University) but i badly want to go to NUS.
I want to know what my chances are. If i have good chances then i will appear for TOEFL otherwise i won't because the fee for appearing is pretty high.
Please try to solve my query.
Thanks!

Hey,
So getting into NUS does depend on a great extent to your board marks, in addition, you’ll get automatic consideration for the scholarships there if your EC’s.
Generally you need 95%+ to get into the Science or Engineering programs there (I got in with 98%), so your chances look a little slim. They also look for consistency, your 10th and 11th marks should have been a little more higher.
Since your a CBSE student, the TOEFL’s not required, so unless you’ve applied to some American Uni’s on the side, don’t waste your money on TOEFL (it isn’t valid for that long),
Hope all this helps and best of Luck!

Thank you so much for replying.
Can you tell me one more thing?
What if i do my graduation from India and try to score a good result and then apply to NUS for Post Grad?
Is that better?
I want to know what is a better option. Apply for Graduation or Post Graduation?

Hie! Since this forum is already here, I’d post my question here itself.
Same as above. What are my chances to get a scholarship at NUS or NTU?
10th Cbse - 10 cgpa.
11th cbse- 83%
Pretty good going in 12th.
Sat score- 770 in maths, 630 in CR , 550 IN Writing.
My co curriculars are pretty slim though.
So that’s it.
Please help.

Also I’m applying for an engineering major.
