Your academic stats are on par, but your ECs are a little too varied. Try to join clubs related to medicine or nursing, hell, even create some.

I agree with sloth83, and starting clubs differ at every school. If you’re at a public school, most likely, you need some supporters, a willing teacher, and hand in some sort of application for the board to review. Private schools vary, but at mine, I simply asked a teacher if she would support me. It was a community service music club so I just organized performances, and now it is a club.

For medicine, I suggest starting a chapter of the FDA (Future Doctors of America) club. It allows you to see how other FDA clubs are doing so you get a sense of what you need to do.

If you have time, you might want to raise your SAT score to 2200. It’s a little bit, but should make a difference. Your academics are fairly solid though.

Fantastic ECs, but you may want to either participate in more competitions or get internships, or just shadow a nurse at your local hospital. Good luck!

@Collegesplz do you think I can make to all of the colleges University of Pittsburgh,Wake Forest University,Duke University and the University of Pennsylvania?

I think match for duke and pitt, but keep in mind that duke is still very selective. It could go either way. UPenn is a reach as it is for everyone. They turn away amazing students. I think you got your academics down, but you need something else that just completely sets you apart from the rest, maybe an internship, or just a great story

Your academics are spot on! I agree that your ECs are varied but I don’t think thats necessarily a bad thing. Easy match for Pitt and Wake. Duke you should be fine. UPenn is a reach for everyone, although your from PA and that does help… however much they deny it ;)

Duke is definitely a reach(it’s almost ivy caliber!) I don’t know why people are saying match. Pitt and wake are matches/low matches. U Penn is also a reach.

Work on bringing up the CR score for Penn or Duke–it looks like a reach based on SAT and possibly class rank, though back in the day it was easier to get into Penn’s nursing program. Good luck!

Penn and Duke are definite reaches - your stats are pretty good, but they’re reaches for everyone. I don’t know too much about the other schools, but after a little bit of googling they both look like pretty solid match schools.
