What are my chances to get into UGA early action?

I applied to UGA early action with
weighted GPA: 4.62
unweighted GPA: 3.56
class rank: 149 out of 577 (top 26%)
SAT: 1760 with CR 530, M 600, W 630
8 AP classes total by the end of my senior year. (I have fully completed 5 thus far)

I am applying out of state which I have heard doesn’t matter, but last year out of state applicants had a 13% acceptance rate. I am worried my SAT score will keep me from getting in.

Your unweighted gpa and SAT might slightly hurt your chances of getting in but your other credentials are on or above par. What was your ACT score? that might help your chances. Also Google “UGA Common Data Set” it could help you see where you fall in with past admittees. I would say your chances are 40-45% it might depend on what major you are applying as. You might be able to take the SAT again and score higher which would greatly improve your chances. I also wouldn’t worry about the UW GPA because you had a rigorous schedule. Good luck and if you don’t get in you’ll end up in the right place for you. It’s not always about where you go it’s what you do at the college you go to. You could be in the middle of the pack at UGA or a star at another school. Good luck and be confident you have a chance and that’s all that matters.
