Your GPA and ACT are well below the average appointee, and I’m not seeing much in the way of leadership or athletics. Do you hold any leadership roles in HOSA or Key Club? Have you done your CFA yet? Scores? With only golf, you’ll need to knock it out of the park.
What year are you in school? A junior I assume? It’s certainly not impossible, but to be honest you’ve got an uphill battle. Good luck - you’ll never know unless you apply.
Get the score and the grades up. Why do you want to be in the military? Why do you want to go to West Point? Remember, that this isn’t just your typical college. It’s the Military Academy. It’s a heavy commitment and you have to know that this is what you want to do. What have you done that has convinced you want to serve your country? Your EC’s are more focused in a pre-med/science/community service direction. You should definitely attend a boot camp or something like that so you can have a sample of what it will be like. A friend of mine wanted to be in the military but after she did a boot camp over the summer, she realized it wasn’t for her.
Will you be recruited to play golf? Are you an URM? These can make a big difference if you fall below the typical appointee when it comes to your stats…
Your stats are definitely low for West Point, but if you are serious about an Army career then apply for an ROTC scholarship. They are a little easier to obtain.
