What are my chances to Northwestern?

I am about to be a high school senior and am very interested in Northwestern. It’d be great if you guys could let me know my chances of getting in.

TEST SCORES:
ACT - 34 Composite E: 35, M:33, R: 35, S:34. (will retake once more in September)
AP Tests: AP World History-5 ; APUSH-5 ; AP CALC AB-5 ; AP STATS-5 ; AP CHEM-4
SAT II: Math II: 800, Chem: 740, World History: 720, US History: 720

GPA:
4.0 (to date)

INTERNSHIPS:

  • public health internship summer of sophomore year
  • highly regarded cancer research institute summer of junior year

RECOMMENDATIONS:

  • I am receiving recs from my leadership, chemistry and statistics teacher who consider me as one of their best students. Additionally, the school vice principal who I work closely with will be writing a supplemental recommendation

Common App: This essay was about how I made the most out of my fourth move through an unconventional way (strong essay)
NW Activity Essay: About my experience interning in the cancer research institute (strong essay)
NW Why Essay: generic, but strongly voices passion and enthusiasm

Just apply. Your shot is as good as anyone else applying. You’re def competitive, sure, but most people applying to NU are, so it’s really a crapshoot. Are you applying ED or RD?

RD for financial reasons. not sure i could afford if i got in ED

@xygate487 Yeah, NU is def really expensive so make sure you know the cost before doing ED. Anyways, kill those essays and good luck RD :slight_smile:
