Well I didn't mention my race ( as if it matters ) and for some reason I can't edit my above post. I have 100% Persian 1/2 Jewish 1/2 Zoroastrian

Haha. next time try to use a more catchy title. I'm being nice though ahha. I know how it feels to not get replies =]. Hm.. i'll chance you.

You have excellent Stats all around. EC's. Grades. SAT's [could you a LIL improvement, but overall great]. I think you have a good chance at UCB and UCLA is a almost match. BY the way. this is only if you're a resident of California. NOn-resident. Still competitive. But raise SAT's by a lot. Try to increase that 3.14 =] but overall. Competitive for UCB/UCLA =]

I have a couple of (in-state) friends who just got into UCB and UCLA.

To be honest (because no one was ever very honest with me :p) your unweighted GPA is pretty low. My friends had unweighted GPAs of around 3.8-3.9. BUT, you have one hell of a course schedule (more competitive than my friends'). And I think that colleges love that, and will probably not even consider the unweighted GPA).

Your SAT scores are about the same as theirs.

As someone who has been through the process, just keep in mind that nothing is ever certain with these schools. The entire application process has just become crazier and crazier. But I think that you should feel pretty confident about getting in. Good luck! I remember to apply to LOTS of schools. Apply to more medium-level schools so you have plenty of choices in the end. An esp. because you never know who is going to give you a full ride <3
