Hey currently i am a senior
and i have 2.7 GPA but
high SAT scores :2150 SATII korean: 790 Math: 700
what are my chances to UCR, CSULB, and Cal poly Pomona??

You should consider applying to UC Riverside by examination. Otherwise you wouldn't meet the qualification standards.

Here is the site which explains the process:

As far as CSULB, you would be borderline with that GPA (only a 2.5 GPA is required to apply, but generally you need at least 2.9 to 3.0 to get in), but the test scores should put you over the top and you will probably get for that reason. You should also apply to Cal Poly Pomona as a backup plan, since their GPA/test score requirements are not as severe.

jjiinngg:

UCR: N/A (not UC eligible)

low gpa... but super SATs. :o that GPA won't cut it for UCs though... but that SAT will cut it for CAL and LA. You're in all the cal states.

^^^That is not true.....you probably won't get into SDSU or Cal Poly Slo.....but you should be fine for the others.

To OP:

You actually are qualified to apply to the UCs via Eligibility by Examination Alone. I've checked your scores and you have 439 on the UC scale with a mandatory minimum of 410 for eligibility for In-state and 425 for OOS.

So apply to the UCs, you'll be eligible and will get into Merced due to well...they need people and probably UCR.

If you want to go to a better UC like LA or Berkeley, go to Community College for 2 Years and do well there and you'll probably be able to JC transfer into a top UC.

The guy above me's got it right. Definetly go with that.
