What are my chances to UCLA

<p>Hi My name is Jack and live Missouri, and I am a Junior in high school. As of now, I have a 4.000 GPA, have not taken the SAT, over 40 hours of community service. What are my chances of getting into UCLA?</p>

AP World History (got a 5)
Biology II (dual credit course)
Advanced Communication Arts
Spanish II
Chinese II</p>

<p>Junior Year (current year) Classes:</p>

<p>AP Biology
AP Government and Politics
AP Literature and Composition
AP Physics I
College Chemistry (Dual Credit)
Spanish Honors IV (I skipped Spanish III)
Advanced Pre-Calculus with Trig.</p>

<p>I am going to take AP Chinese and AP Calculus AB (studied on my own with a tutor) in addition to the other 4 AP exams this year.</p>

<p>Jack: first question, Can your parents afford $60,000 per year? There are no scholarships for OOS students, so you have to pay full fee.</p>

<p>You have a great chance of getting in! The only thing holding you back at this point might be that you are out of state. Also, I am sure your ECs are fine, but maybe they could be a bit more? Because high tier schools like UCLA like to see a variety of ECs on an applicant, at least that’s how I perceive it. Nonetheless, you definitely have a much higher chance than most others applying to UCLA, especially since you have a 4.000 unweighted GPA, which is very good, since UCs value GPA above all else. </p>
