Hello, fellow applicants.
I'm a sophomore at UW (University of Washington) and I'll be applying to their school of nursing at the end of this year. The problem is, other than the fact that it's extremely competitive and difficult to get into the department (they receive about 400 applicants and accept only 95 per year, and most of the applicants have very strong academic, extracurricular achievements), I don't think UW's the school for me.

Being realistic, for an international student like me, UW's tuition is definitely less costly compared to many other colleges in the US (and their nursing school - though grad - being the top in the nation and all). And the academic rigor and extensive programs they offer are quite satisfying. However, I am rather disappointed with huge lecture classes, where there's very little interactions amongst students and the instructors, and also the student body of this school.

Though I do have respects for many bright UW Huskies out there, I've met plenty of people who's more into the Greek scene of UW and other social matters. Disregarding so many other reasons that has led me to such decisions, I would now like to ask about my chances for transferring and etc. (Please excuse me and my super long prelude)
