Honestly, it’s up in the air righ tnow. High School at this point doesnt matter as much. You don’t have to report your high school GPA on the application, and they want to know your CURRENT extra curricular activities to show that you are being well-rounded whilel youre in college. You also should try to be in things that help emphasize your major. Maybe Philosophy Club?

As long as you get those up you should be fine. Best of luck!

I applied to UCLA with a philosophy major last Fall.

The average GPA that was accepted by the school was a 3.6 gpa
the averge GPA that applied was a 3.4
My GPA was a 3.34, and I got accepted to my dream school.

I had two years of Vector Marketing on my resume, and it really made my application stand out despise what naysayers say about the company.

So…write a killer essay and get some strong challenging work experience. Walmart is ehhh. I seriously suggest checking out Vector Marketing.

Thanks everyone you guys are awesome. I will spend a lonnng time on my essays. I also am a good writer so well see. Also, are the prompts the same every year? Where can I findem? I’m thinking of doing volunteer work at city hall, how does that look towards admissions?

you have a decent shot IMO. its going to be a bit of a reach considering the gpa but if you do really well on your personal statement your extra curriculars could put you over the top. good luck!
