University of Michigan has always been my dream school. I am going to be a senior this fall and am starting the application process. My cumulative GPA is a 3.89...would colleges round that to a 3.9? My ACT score is a 28. I understand that this is on the lower end of the U of M average...I plan on taking the ACT one more time this September and hopefully bringing it to above a 30. I am a year ahead in math. I started with German 2 my freshman year and will be taking AP German my senior year. Umich recommends at least 2 years of foreign language but I've take German 1,2,3,4 and am now doing AP. I'm also fluent in Arabic and tutor students who don't speak English. I've been in honors English since freshman year. I doubled up on science both my sophomore and junior year...I've done a lot of volunteering. I'm a member of National Honors Society, German honors society and an officer for a tutoring club...I started taking APs my junior year (the reason I didn't start earlier was because I had a bad counselor who discouraged me)...by the end of my high school career I will have done AP biology, Ap world, ap psychology, ap English, and AP German! Also I will be doing internship in the fall.

I’ve seen fellow students get accepted with lower scores than you. I’d say it’s a match. I know they’re really big on the language requirement so that’s good. You’ll also benefit especially if you can raise your ACT or do well on AP tests.

Is that your Weighted or Unweighted GPA?
