Have many extra curricular activities. Also my essays were really good. And two of my brothers go to the school already. Also applied priority. What are my chances?

Unless you have absolutely no idea what program of study you’d like to take, do not apply directly to DGS. If you apply to a program, and get accepted, then great. If you are not accepted, you are automatically considered for DGS, and there is no penalty for attempting to directly get into a program first.

Since you haven’t, if you do get accepted, you’ll have to have the grades to transfer later. That’s not a problem really, but it adds an element of uncertainty to your college career.

Having said all that, your GPA looks good, but your ACT is low, as is your class rank. I’d have to say it’s a reach, but you made the right move trying. You would otherwise never know. Good luck.

I hope I get in. It’s my number 1 school. I know some kids who got in with a 21 and 22. Hopefully I can be one of those lucky kids accepted.

I don’t think you’re a reach, especially for DGS. You’re good!

Thank you guys. Means a lot.
