What Are My Chances - (University of San Francisco) USFCA

Rate my chances for USFCA (NURSING MAJOR). I know USFCA has a high acceptance rate but I know it’s tougher for their nursing program.

I have an average GPA of about 3.5 or so. SAT score was also nothing big, just about an 1100 (On the recent scale of course).
I’m overall very average because I did not take everything COMPLETELY serious until my Junior year which I got a weighted 4.0 GPA with my AP classes.

This being said, I have extracurriculars that make up for it. I’ve been a top leader for a group for four years and participate in MANY activities in my church. I am a board member of one club, and an active member in two other medical clubs. Seems like a lot but I am dedicated to all my clubs. I also take a program that focuses on medical sciences and it counts as an A-G course.
I may not have extraordinary grades but I’ve only ever gotten 1 C in high school, and my grades show improvement within the years, never going down.

I may not have the best GPA or SAT score, but it’s not horrible, and I consider myself to be pretty well rounded. Not to mention other background info like being first in family, first generation, etc.
Thanksssss

A few data points from the last 2 years. No available stats for admitted Nursing students, but these stats are from CC posters.

Accepted:
GPA: 3.8 ACT: 28 200+ hours of major related volunteering

Accepted:
GPA weighted: 4.25. ACT: 32

Deferred:
GPA: 3.7. SAT: 1240

Rejected:
GPA: 3.8 ACT: 25

Not much data but it gives you an idea of where you might stand. I would apply Early Action.

Some things to consider when applying to direct entry programs: Have you taken the most rigorous math and science classes and are they the classes that fulfill admission requirements? What are your grades in those classes? Schools will recalculate GPA. The higher level courses will be weighted. Where do your stats lie in the last class profile? Are they in the 75% range? Keep in mind that stats of nursing applicants may be even higher in direct admit programs and higher still for EA process. Nursing is a rigorous major and the schools want to know that you are prepared to be successful in their programs. In the EA process, you will be competing against GPA’s of 4.0 and 1300+ SAT scores. In any school that you are thinking about applying to EA, see if you can find out if their requirements are higher than during RD and what is their history of admitting students who were deferred from EA.
