<p>Hey guys! I'm a rising senior and will be starting the application process really soon (like within the week). Thing is, my GPA is abysmal, so I just wanted a general idea about whether these schools are at all possible for me to get into or if I shouldn't bother applying at all;</p>

<p>And that's really it--no great hooks or legacies, unfortunately. But, if this matters, my sister currently attends Carnegie Mellon and is doing really well there, and I live pretty close to both Carnegie Mellon and U. Pitt.</p>
