What are my chances with low SAT scores

<p>I am a Brazilian female in CT area seeking to major in biology
I have a 3.8 GPA. I'm in the top 17% of my class. I have taken a few honor/AP courses enought to challenge myself but not enough to be over whelmed. I have a really strong essay and strong reccomendations also.
Extracurricular activities:
varsity tennis
Key club
Amnesty international
CT academy of science and research
medical careers club
english tutor
The only problem is that i have really low SAT scores. 1530 :,(
Math 490
reading 470
writing 560
My first choice in schools would be clark university.I plan on applying early action.
what are my chances at...???

Im kinda hopeful because i hear from teachers that universities are not placing as much emphasis on SAT scores as they used to ...i really hope thats true :(</p>

<p>I don’t think you have to worry. You have a good GPA, and lots of EC’s. Colleges do consider SATs, but if all your other academics, and recs are good, you will probably be fine :)</p>
