So I was planning on applying to UIC next fall, but I don't know if they will accept me
I have a G.P.A of a 2.5 and an ACT score of a 20. I was planning on studying for the ACT retake in September which I hope to get at least a 26.
I did very bad my Freshmen and Sophomore year in High School, but I got a 3.8 G.P.A for my junior year with 2 AP classes.
If they see I improved and I get at least a 26 on the ACT retake, do you think I have a shot?

UIC: Match (at 26)

UIC values GPA over ACT score; even, if you increase your ACT to 26, the school is a bit of a reach for you. The average ACT is a 24 and class rank is 75th percentile. For you, the essay will be very important.
