<p>I am extremely established in national circuit LD debate, i.e. qualifying to the tournament of Champions, being invited to various round robins, late outrounds at many prestigious tournaments etc. </p>

<p>I was 3rd place at the UConn NE regional Science Bowl tournament.</p>

<p>I have also won all sorts of awards that have distinguished me historically at my school.</p>

<p>I.e it is very rare for students at my school to take more than 2 APs during any year of high school, and most dont take any at all.</p>

<p>Yeah I’m not sure how much the taking lots of APs compared to others who don’t take more than two will help you that much. At my school it’s normal to take at least 3 your junior year, and upwards from there.</p>

<p>well, I presume they will view it comparitively. For example, your school may be one of those top level public or prep schools where everyone takes APS. I go to a public school where a few people take APs, and even those who do take 1-2 their junior and senior year. In your school good SATs and high AP scores will poabably mean slightly less to the admissions people because sooo many kids have high scores. That was why I bothered to post a stupid award to begin with. I have some other good awards too!</p>

<p>Your ACTs are great. Solid GPA. You’re SAT IIs are not great, but not horrendous. They won’t help your app, but won’t hurt it either. From what it seems, your ECs are great but because you want to keep your identity secret it’s still hard to analyze. </p>

<p>Here is what I think:

  1. congrats on the debate EC
  2. you have low SAT/SAT 2 for Ivies, maybe also for Tufts and BC.
  3. I don’t see a safety! Make sure you have one…
  4. I don’t think your AP’s will hurt you.. I come from a school in MA where there are so many prereqs, that usually seniors will graduate with only 3-4 AP’s. And yet, some go to ivies. you could ask your counselor to explain…</p>

<p>Your normal stats are pretty much fine, but its honestly your EC’s. The debate thing is sweet, but you don’t go into anything else.
